What problem are you facing?
Trying to set up and configure receiving payment on my site. how do i do that.

Enable payments Login to Neartail. Click on the form to open it. Edit page will be displayed. In the Neartail Edit page, click on the gear icon next to the Submit button. Button settings will be displayed. Click Enable payments. The payment options supported in your country will be displayed. You can configure the preferred payment options and click Save. Once you complete the setup, you can use the Neartail share link to submit a response and test the payment process to ensure everything is working correctly. Automated payments When this option is enabled, users will be able to submit the order only if the payment is successful. Please note Stripe, Paypal charges a transaction fee. Manual payments When the user submits the form, we automatically generate the QR code/ pay now button that autofills the amount. The payment details are displayed after the user submits the form. Please note that you will have to manually reconcile payments by checking the transactions. When a user places an order, the payment status will be either marked as "Pending" (not paid) by default. If the user clicks on the Mark as paid button, the status will be updated as "Paid, not verified". Once you verify the payment, you can mark the order as "Paid". Available payment options We have integrated with Stripe (Card, Bancontact, Paynow, Cash App, iDeal) and Paypal (Paypal, Venmo) for automated payments. In addition, you can also enable manual & offline payment methods such as UPI, Cash App, Zelle, cash on delivery, bank transfer, check.

When I try to sign in I get an error and bad request notification

Hi Pallavi, Neartail is not a Chrome addon. It is a Google Forms addon that you can install from the Google Workspace marketplace. If you have logged in with multiple google accounts in your browser, sometimes the addons may not be installed properly. Open an incognito window in your Chrome browser, login with the preferred google account and then install the addon. Please try this and confirm.

Can I apply currency format to an emply field? Thank You for your support.

Hi - We do not have the option to format an input field. You can only format the answer for a calculated field.

Hello We have 2 problems with this form: 1. We don't see all results inside of Google form as also in Google sheet. Inside of FormFacade in Responses we have 10 forms with status Submited, we can review answers for the questions but inside of Google Form and Google sheet we have only 8 responses. It is very problematic we use this Google sheet in our process and we will need to add those responses by ourself to it. 2. We receive an error from your support: Error: Submit failed Message: Error: Not able to update this response in Google Forms. Submit it again. Contact owner, if this error occurs repeatedly. Response: Ranking ESG. Odpowiedzialne Zarządzanie 2024 #12 And we don't know what to do? How to fix it? Customers can't submit form :/ For our setup we use method Website -> is different from above.

When the user submits the form, the response is recorded in Formfacade and Google Forms. If there are any issues with submitting the form or recording the responses in Google Forms, we show an error message to the user and also send a notification email to the form creator. The submit can fail because there is an issue with the form, internet connectivity issue etc. The notification email will include the error message, draft id, link to the response (abandoned or submitted). If the error for response shows "Not able to update this response in Google Forms'', then this indicates that the submit was successful and the response was recorded in Formfacade, but not updated in Google Forms. Google Forms might reject the responses if it fails any response validations (incorrect answers, missing answers for required questions or if you have enabled any of the features that require signin such as limit to 1 response, collect email address - verified input, send response receipts, response too large. You might have also noticed that sometimes Google Forms throws a "Something went wrong" error without giving any additional details. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > click on the response to view the details > click on the three dots more icon > click Edit > the response will open in a new tab > click Submit and check if you are getting any error or if the response is recorded in Google Forms. Note: You are getting a response too large error because of the limitation with Google Forms. You can either split this into multiple forms or add response validations to the 57 paragraph questions in your form to limit the number of characters.

I need to have calculations in a field but be able to change it if needed, Think choosing "Editable" in Answer / apperance should do it but i'm still not be able to change it. Field "Surfing once a day total amount" at below form is an example. Can you please help understand this issue. Thank You for your support. Fernando Antunes

Hi Fernando, You cannot edit the calculated answers. If you add a formula in the Calculate option for a field, it will be read-only field by default. If required, you can choose to hide it.

For multiple of our forms, our users are receiving errors when attempting to submit. One of the errors has been saying "Error: Submit failed Message: SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'I', "Internal S"... is not valid JSON. Submit it again. Contact owner, if this error occurs repeatedly. Response: undefined #628" I linked below one of the forms that this is occurring with. A second error that we have been continuing to see states, "Error: Submit failed Message: Error: Not able to update this response in Google Forms. Submit it again. Contact owner, if this error occurs repeatedly. Response: 2024 GBT 2-Hour Virtual Theory LIVE #147" Please advise as these errors are affecting the workflows of our business.

If there are issues with submitting the form, then the email notification will include the draft id that is prefixed with *. If there are any issues with recording the responses in Google Forms, then the email notification will include the submit id that is prefixed with #. Invalid JSON error This error is caused due to network issues. Users just have to refresh the page and then try again or connect using their mobile data and try it. If the notification includes #628, then it indicates that the response has been submitted. You can click on the response link in the notification email and check the status message displayed above the form title. Not able to update this response in Google Forms This error indicates that the submit was successful and the response was recorded in Formfacade, but not updated in Google Forms. Google Forms might reject the responses if it fails any response validations (incorrect answers, missing answers for required questions or if you have enabled any of the features that require signin such as limit to 1 response, collect email address - verified input, send response receipts. You might have also noticed that sometimes Google Forms throws a "Something went wrong" error without giving any additional details. Please check your form set up. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > click on the response to view the details > click on the three dots more icon > click Edit > the response will open in a new tab (copy this link and share it with us) > click Submit and check if you are getting any error or if the response is recorded in Google Forms. If you need any help, send an email with the response link to support@formfacade.com

Hi, I would like to receive a message by email containing all the information from the completed form so that I can process it directly from my email, is this possible? We want to use the form as a 'New customer form filler' after which we have to process this information in our ERP system. And is it also possible to add a link in a mandatory answer? I would like to send people to the 'Term-conditions' if they want to read this before they agree. Hope you can help me.

Hi - You cannot format the answer choices to include a hyperlink, but you can choose to add the link in the description option for this checkboxes question. If the requirement is to show the terms and conditions and get consent from your users, then you can use our Formfillable addon that allows you to show a consent screen before submit. Add terms and conditions Create a Google Docs with the terms and conditions > open your form in Google Forms > click on the addon icon > click Formfillable > click Show consent screen > select Existing Google Docs template, click Next > select the Google Docs Template, click Select to set up the consent screen. When the user fills the form and clicks on the submit button, the google docs template will be displayed as the consent screen > users can click on the "Agree" button to submit the response. Email notifications You can also setup email notifications to be sent to the form respondents as well as your team. Open your form in Google Forms > click on the addon icon > click Formfillable > click More options > click Customize > Edit page will open in a new tab > click Responses > In the Responses page, click on the three dots more icon next to the Submitted status > click Email respondents to setup confirmation emails and Email collaborators to setup notifications for your team. The number of email ids you can add depends on the subscription plan. How do I change the name of my Neartail account? It shows at the top of every form and when I set it up, I used the year 2023, because I did not realise I could not edit it. I would like it to say 2024, but I cannot see how to do this. You can see in the top left corner, is says BJTC Awards 2023, but the form is Awards 2024. I need to update that 2023

Hi Helen, To change the account name that appears in the header, you have to update the Title in the Theme settings. Login to Neartail. Click on the form to open it. Edit page will be displayed. In the Edit page, click on the profile name in the top right corner. Click Change theme. Theme settings will be displayed in the Preview page. Click Page. Enter the required text in the Title (header / account name), Footer option (replaces "This site belongs to...") and click Save. Please try this and confirm.

Hi, Can you please help me with my form. I used it last year and now i need to modify it a bit. I am having trouble wiht the Summary page = on Neartail form i see total amount (but with $ and not ILS symbol) and when i test it via Google Forms i do not see total at all. What am i doing wrong? Thanks!

Hi - The currency is not set in your form. If you have created your form in Google Forms, you can customize it using the Neartail addon to set the currency and add calculations in the form. Calculate order amount Open your form in Google Forms > click on the addon icon > click Neartail > click Calculate order amount > select the currency, enable format prices option, click Next > select Calculate amount based on price option, click Proceed > Neartail Edit page will open in a new tab > if required, you can then customize the form and the use the Neartail share link to collect responses.

when we click cart and checkout , the button goes to first page. how to configure checkout

By default, Neartail will automatically set the first page with the required fields as the checkout page. Since you have added contact # as a required field in the home page, the checkout button is mapped to this page. Please refer to the help article below to configure the preferred checkout page. https://neartail.com/order-form/configure-checkout-page.html Note: You must not enable the search option or enable quick navigation for categories as this will allow the users to skip the required field in the home page. This will cause issues with recording the responses correctly.

trying to find login authentication information so we can update it. Our organization is using this website and have since changed leadership. We'd like to change who the verification texts go to for login

Hi - Neartail uses Google signin. If you would like to update the password or other login preferences, you will have to update it for your google account.
