General Rental Agreement-
PADDLEBOARDS AND EQUIPMENT
Current Driver’s license picture and Credit Card to be billed for damages is required at the time of pick-up.
You must be 18 yrs old or older to rent.
Individuals named on the contract are required to submit credit card information and a deposit prior to or at the time of reservation and/or rental.
Payment in full for all rentals is due at the time of reservation.
Individual named on the contract must be present at the time of pick-up or item(s) will not be released.
Check-Out:
Renters are responsible for inspecting all equipment carefully and to bring any missing or damaged equipment to an owner's attention. Make sure any discrepancies are noted on the rental agreement. Failure to note any discrepancies may result in a fee for damaged or missing equipment. If needed, please ask for assistance with inspection and/or instructions on how to properly set-up the equipment.
Check-In:
Renter will be charged for equipment that is extremely dirty, damaged, or missing, up to and including the cost to replace such equipment at the current equipment costs, regardless of the age of the equipment.
If equipment is lost or stolen, the renter will be responsible for all replacement costs at full retail prices.
Equipment Damage:
Rental Fees do not cover any portion of damages to equipment. Any damaged equipment interfering with the rental or reservation of another will be charged the entire cost of the other rental in addition to all equipment repair and/or replacement costs.
Late Fees:
Late fees are assessed at 1.5 times the daily rate for each day the equipment is not returned. This is strictly enforced as it may jeopardize another person's rental plans. Any late equipment affecting another person's rental will be charged the entire cost of the other rental.
Life Jackets:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in relation to lifejackets. It is your personal responsibility to know the laws and follow safety guidelines.
Rental Liability Waiver:
I AM AGREEING TO ALL ITEMS BELOW.
_I hereby agree that by renting this equipment, I accept liability for any damages that may occur. I assume all responsibility for equipment while in my possession, and promise to return all equipment in as good condition as it was when I received it.
_I acknowledge that I have the necessary skills to use the above rented equipment properly. All equipment is use at your own risk. Life Jackets should be worn.
_I also agree that if I damage, lose, or misplace any item I rent from Angie Siddoway, that I will pay for these losses or damages according to prices listed later on this form.
Bent paddles and damaged Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUPs) will be charged for replacement.
__If I do not return the product within 3 working days of the due date, I authorize Angie Siddoway to charge the full retail purchase price of the products (see below) to my credit card, minus the deposit. I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for any damage to the product or loss during the time it is checked out to me and if damage or loss occurs, I authorize Angie Siddoway to charge the cost of replacement or repair to my credit card, minus deposit. The charges will be the current regular retail price. Estimated costs below.
MONSTER PADDLEBOARD: $1999.00
10’ 6” PADDLEBOARD: $550.00
PADDLE: $100.00
DUAL ACTION HAND PUMP: $50.00
__It is solely the discretion of the owner (Angie Siddoway) to determine if damaged equipment will be repaired or replaced at the renter’s expense.
Lost or abandoned equipment will be billed $25 per hour for recovery time.
All repair work (such as patching) will be billed $25 per hour plus materials.
Bent paddles, and badly damaged watercraft will be charged for replacement.
By signing, I attest that I have read, understood and agreed to these conditions. My signature further indicates that all information provided on the rental sheet is true and correct.
