Bardolino is a red wine obtained from our traditional local grapes. Fruity

when young, it acquires complexity over the years, also releasing spicy notes.

It is the very convivial and fresh soul of Veronese reds, pleasing when tasted

on its own and a great friend of any meal.

Vines: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara.

Training system: Guyot

Vinification:Fermentation in steel tanks with pumping over twice a day for 8/10 days. Once drawn off, it remains in steel tanks until bottling.

Ageing: 5/6 months in steel tanks.

Colour: Ruby red.

Bouquet: Fruity, with cherries, blackberries and currants; hints of spices and black pepper, especially with ageing.

Flavour: Soft, with a delicate and persistent tannic structure, it has a satisfying, controlled acidity in balance with the savouriness of the morainic soil. Full-bodied and extremely drinkable.

Food matches: Soups, pasta with meat or amatriciana sauces, risottos, grilled meats and young cheeses.
