Squid Games

Introduction

Squid game is a popular game show series where people come to compete and win prizes. It is based on the survival of the fittest, which requires teamwork, problem solving skills, and creativity.

Taking inspiration from this show, we've planned our own rendition for our event, in which participants will pitted against one another.

Event Description

Participants in this event must complete three levels in order to claim the prize. Each level will be unique and will put the participants' skills to the test. There will be two team rounds to test the participants' soft skills, as well as one individual round.

Rounds

Round 1: Communication Round(1hr)

A team of five will be assembled. There will be one actor, two imposters, and two guessers among them. The actor and the imposters will be addressed. The actor will act out the word for 60 seconds, and the guessers will have to guess the word while imposters will lead them astray. If the guessers say the correct word at any point, they win; otherwise, the imposters win.

Round 2: Memory Round(40min)

Participants who advanced to the second round will be divided into five-person teams. They will be shown images for a few seconds in order to remember them. Pieces of those images will be hidden in four different rooms. They'll have to find those pieces and put the puzzle together. The top five teams will advance.

Round 3: Technical Round(30min)

The final round will be an individual competition. Each participant will be provided with a computer. That computer will contain five images. Each image will have some data embedded in it or in the metadata. This will take them to an encrypted folder. There will be an encrypted code inside the folder that will lead to a room with a link. The contestant who visits the link first will be declared the winner.
