Adolescence 101: Adolescence 101: Equipping Parents/Guardians for Adolescence

Adolescence 101 is a free, four-part program designed to support Parkway parents and guardians of Elementary and Middle School students as they approach the transition to middle school or navigate the new experience of adolescence. Each 60-minute session offers practical strategies, expert insights, and opportunities to connect with other families, followed by an optional 30-minute discussion for those who want to explore the topic together.

You’ll learn about:

  • Session 1: Technology & Social Media: Brains, Boundaries & Belonging

  • Session 2: The Growing Brain: Emotional Regulation, Coping & Resilience

  • Session 3: Peer Relationships & Social Change

  • Session 4: Anxiety & Growing Independence

Together, we’ll help ensure a smoother, healthier transition into adolescence.

Come to one session or all four. Whatever works best for you and your family.
