The Town of Portola Valley Cultural Arts Committee is excited to present the Photo Contest, Spring in Portola Valley on April 17, 18 , & 19.
All photograph submissions must be received by April 12, 2026. This contest welcomes seasoned photographers and photo enthusiasts alike from Portola Valley and the surrounding areas.
There are two entry divisions:
- Student Photography (Under 18)
- Adult Photography (18+)
When submitting your photograph, you will be asked to select one category (an award will be given in each category):
- Landscape
- Native Plant
- Wildlife
- People/Portraits
Submission Guidelines:
- A participant can submit one photo in each of the categories, i.e., one photo in each category and four photos total. The participant is only eligible to be awarded a prize in one category.
- Image resolution: 300 dpi (pictures from most smart phones will typically meet this requirement)
- All photos will be printed by the PV Cultural Arts Committee at 8 x 10 inches
Winning photos will be published on the Portola Valley Cultural Arts Committee website
www.pvcac.net.
Voting will take place in-person at Town Center April 17 (5-7pm) & April 18-19 (1-4pm).
General Media/Artwork Release Form Requirement:
- Your submission will not be considered complete until you sign and return the required General Media/Artwork Release Form, included in the form below
- If your photo includes any identifiable person(s), each individual must also sign a General Media/Artwork Release Form. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf.
- Entries that do not have all required signed release forms may be disqualified.
