Just Listening is an interactive group listening workshop that opens the mind to musical understanding, regardless of style or source. The workshop uses modern classical music, or some other variety of unfamiliar music, as a pathway to a state of awareness known as beginner’s mind. By listening repeatedly, simply stating what one hears, and talking with others about it, what was once mysterious gradually becomes comprehensible.
