WELCOME!

Thank you for your interest in Faith In Action, our hometown mission trip opportunity for youth in the New Albany Deanery. We are excited to invite you to a transformative week from June 29 to July 3, 2025. Our home base will be Mt. St. Francis (101 St. Anthony Dr., Mt. St. Francis, IN), where we’ll come together to serve and grow in faith. This year, we are thrilled to host over 40 high school youth, and we can't wait to make a difference in our community alongside such passionate, dedicated young people. It's going to be an unforgettable week of service, fellowship, and spiritual growth! Check out our website here.

Being an adult leader on a mission trip is an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact. It's a chance to step into a role that’s not only about giving but also about growing—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. You’ll have the privilege of guiding, supporting, and inspiring participants as they experience the transformative power of service, faith, and community. The bonds you form and the lives you touch will leave a profound mark on your own heart, reminding you of the deep joy that comes from serving others. It's not just about leading a team; it's about being part of something bigger than yourself, where every act of kindness and every moment of shared faith deepens your sense of purpose.

This year, we have three distinct teams working to create a memorable Faith In Action week for our deanery community, including:

The Service Site Team works directly with Faith In Action participants at various service locations throughout Southern Indiana, and occasionally in the metro-Louisville area. Team members will roll up their sleeves and work alongside a group of five youth. If you're 25 or older, you’ll also be asked to provide transportation to and from the service sites.

The Retreat Team is responsible for creating a fun, faith-filled atmosphere each evening. This includes leading prayer sessions, organizing live praise & worship with our guest musician, facilitating team-building activities, and more. Team members are invited to stay overnight for safety (and shenanigans) if they are able.

The Hospitality Team is essential in ensuring that our mission trip is both comfortable and inviting for all youth participants. Whether you're greeting guests, serving a meal, or washing laundry, your contributions will make a significant impact on creating a positive atmosphere throughout the trip. Best of all, the time commitment for this team is flexible and less demanding, making it a great option for those with busy schedules.

The following pages will provide you with more details and time commitments for each team. You can hit the "NEXT" and "BACK" button to toggle between pages as you prayerfully consider the adult leader options.
