In order to complete the following application, you'll be asked for background and contact information, and to upload a one-page resume (PDF preferred). You will indicate which position(s) in which orchestra(s) you are interested in auditioning for. Only one submission is necessary to audition for both orchestras.
The SF Opera and SF Ballet will conduct the preliminary and semi-final rounds together, with each orchestra’s audition committee deliberating independently. Final round(s) shall be held separately, with vacancies filled solely on the basis of each orchestra’s individual deliberation process. The CBAs of both orchestras allow for candidates to simultaneously hold positions in both orchestras. Should a candidate win positions in both orchestras, the sum of the respective annual salary guarantees will apply.
