NCYC Volunteer

Experience what 15,000 young people already know—NCYC is alive with a contagious faith! Adult volunteers are vital to this incredible gathering, helping create a safe, organized, and transformative experience for teens from across the nation. By serving, you not only impact young people’s faith journeys, but also enrich your own through prayer, fellowship, and the joy of witnessing the universality of the Church.

This November, the New Albany Deanery has the special honor of partnering with service organizations to create an interactive service exhibit—and we’d love for you to join us.

All service site activities will be held at the Indianapolis Convention Center (100 S. Capitol Ave. / Indianapolis, IN).

All volunteers are invited to a one-night training to get familiar with volunteer tasks, explore ride-sharing options from Southern Indiana, and receive maps and conference schedules. Don’t miss this important evening, hosted at the Catalyst Catholic office (101 St. Anthony Dr., Mt. St. Francis, IN) from 6:30–8:00 pm.

All new volunteers must complete Safe Parish training before starting ministry. The online course (English or Spanish) takes about one hour, is available anytime, and must be renewed every five years. It also includes a background check and agreement to the code of conduct.

**If you’re unsure or need help completing the SafeParish requirement, don’t worry—our Catalyst Catholic staff will gladly walk with you through the process once we receive your registration.**
