Bring your little scientist to Catawba Science Center for Itty Einstein Science! These preschool homeschool offerings are a fun and engaging way to learn about science for children ages 3 years - 5 years and their caregivers. Preschoolers get their hands dirty and their minds piqued by exploring simple science concepts through play, hands-on learning, and demonstrations.

To register:

1. Select the class(es) you would like to attend with your Preschooler.

   
   

2. Complete the registration and payment information. You must complete a separate registration form for EACH child.

   
   

3. CSC Office Staff will email confirmations once registrations are processed. Your registration is NOT finalized until you receive an email confirmation.

WHO:

• Students in Preschool (ages 3 years - 5 years) and their caregivers.

WHEN:

• Classes take place monthly from 10:00 am-11:00 am on designated Thursdays.

  
  

CHECK IN: 

• 10 minutes prior to class time in the WEST EDUCATION Building, Classroom 1.

• Please use the outside door to classroom 1, located near the Hickory City Greenway Community Garden.

COST:

• CSC Members: $10.00 + tax per student, per class.  Full Year of Classes $80.00 + tax per student.

• Non-members: $15.00 + tax per student, per class. Full Year of Classes $120.00 + tax per student.

Registration, Payment, & Refunds:

• Payment and registration forms are required to reserve your child’s space. 

• Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. 

• Please note that all sales are final and refunds will not be issued for missed classes.  

• Registration does not include admission to Catawba Science Center.
