The family of the Crowley Foundation is excited to build with you! Commitment to the Mentor Cycle is 2 years.
Mentors are expected to participate in all programming events-Fall Workshop, Leadership Summit, Career Exploration, Relationship Series, etc.
Mentors are expected to meet in person biweekly with mentee(s).
Mentors are expected to touch base weekly with their mentee(s).
Mentors are expected to uphold ethical standards and cultural competence requirements.
Our quality of service is best realized over a period of time; this ensures the accuracy of our data collected. Exceptions to attendance and commitments are made but must be communicated with your mentor coordinator. The Crowley Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of Young Kings, Ambassadors, and Mentors. Follow-through is key to this brotherhood and the development of our Young Kings. Evaluations will be made monthly by all parties involved: Mentor, Mentee and Mentor Coordinator. If Mentor Match is ineffective, the Mentor Coordinator and Program Director will rematch Mentor and Mentee if necessary. It is absolutely essential that everyone understands their commitment to the program, so we continue a legacy of progressive Black men.
