Invitation to Participate 

You are invited to participate in a research study exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) affects student study habits. The purpose of this study is to better understand how students use AI tools, their dependance on these tools and how it may impact their academic behaviors and performance. 

Procedures 

If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete an online survey. The survey will take approximately 10–15 minutes and includes questions about your study habits, academic performance, and use of AI tools. It will include both multiple choice and written answers.  

Voluntary Participation 

Your participation is completely voluntary. You may choose not to participate or to withdraw at any time. 

Confidentiality 

Your responses will be kept confidential and anonymous. No identifying information will be collected. Data will be securely stored and used only for the purposes of this research. 

Risks and Benefits 

There are minimal risks associated with participation, such as mild discomfort in answering personal or reflective questions. While you may not receive any direct benefit from this study, your input will contribute to a greater understanding of AI’s role in student learning and potentially guide improvements in educational practices. 

Compensation 

There is no compensation for participating in this study.
