Yennenga Samba in NYC

Join French-Tunisian-Burkinabè Musa and international samba artist Yennenga Samba from Friday December 12th - 13th. YS brings over a decade of global performance and teaching experience—from SambaViva in the U.S. to workshops in Paris, Bangkok, and Medellín—and has paraded in Rio’s Carnival since 2019 with schools such as Cubango, Em Cima da Hora, Vigário Geral, and Império da Tijuca.

Her classes focus on technique, musicality, stamina, and expressive confidence, shaped by her multicultural, feminist, and community-centered approach to samba.
