Steam frozen Siu Mai directly from the freezer for 8–12 minutes over boiling water until the wrappers are translucent and the filling is hot. Line the steamer with parchment paper or cabbage leaves to prevent sticking. Do not defrost before steaming to maintain wrapper integrity
