£10.00
Origin: UK
Weight: Approx. 400g
🔥🔥First, at 90-95 degrees, heat the Char siu for 30 minutes
After that, 5-8 minutes, increase the oven temperature to the highest setting, such as 180-200 degrees Celsius, depending on your oven's performance.
Watch the colour of the roasted Char siu. When it turns golden brown and crispy to your desired consistency, remove it from the oven, let it rest for a minute or two, then chop it into pieces and serve.
If using a Frozen Char Siu, an additional thawing process is required.
Place the frozen roasted Char siu in a refrigerator at 0-4 degrees Celsius to thaw for 1 day, allowing it to naturally warm up. Do not place directly into the oven from a frozen state, as this will cause the outside to heat up while the inside remains cold, affecting the texture. Allow it to thaw completely before heating it using the same method as for fresh roast Char siu to maintain its optimal flavour and texture.
By following these steps, you can easily enjoy crispy and delicious Roast Char Siu.
