Purpose of Event

For the first time in history, Illinois women will be represented in the USSSA Challenge Cup in Viera, FL from January 26-29, 2023. The Cup squad is comprised of women from five different Illinois tournament teams. All women were selected not only for their outstanding athletic abilities but for their commitment and dedication to Illinois softball.

Due to the short notice of this historical moment in women's slowpitch, the 2023 Cup Squad has opted to run a fundraiser two weeks before the games to help with travel expenses. Please join us for an activity-filled evening at Hawthorne's Backyard in West Chicago on Saturday, January 14! Our goal is to raise $5000 to offset uniform and lodging costs for this amazing group of women who have earned an opportunity to bring the Cup to Illinois!
