Event Timeline:

Submission Start:    Monday, Feb 5th

Submission End:     Thursday, March 4th

(This time will be used by our team to review sort and catalogue all submissions)

Voting Start:          Friday, March 14th

Voting End:            Friday, April 14th

1st Place Prize: Brand New Bethlehem Star Torch

2nd Place Prize: Brand New Vetrosafe Guardian Shade 3 Glasses


Theme:

Gnomes: Create a gnome of any shape or design. 


Rules and Regulations:

  • Lampworking only

  • No collaborations

  • No smokeables

  • PG-13

  • You must name your gnome

  • You must have video and photo proof of you making the gnome

  • Submit your artwork and proof by following the steps in your email receipt from this payment.

  • No assistance from another glass blower

  • No using other artists' millies, prep work, or any piece of art altered by another artist

  • One submission per artist.

Disqualification without refund if your artwork is not submitted by Feb 19th, 11:59pm (CTZ).


Judging Process:

  1. Judging will be held on the website through a public voting poll

  2. You will be able to and are encouraged to promote your gnome

  3. The public will vote on which gnomes should win over the course of 4 weeks

  4. At the end of week 1 and 2, as much as 50 percent of the placements with the least amount of votes will be eliminated

  5. Ties result in those contestants moving forward to the next round of voting

  6. At the end of week 3 all but 5 placements will be eliminated. Those 5 placements will move on to the final round.

  7. At the end of week 4 the two gnomes with the highest votes will place 1st and 2nd. 

  8. Ties will come down to a unanimous decision between the two hosts of the competition. 

  9. Winners announced on March 29th on our Instagram @ikonicglasscompetitions and our website www.ikonicglasscompetitions.com
