At each age group we try to field one A (Black) squad of around 18 players, so everybody gets max playing time. Most others who attend our tryouts are offered a spot on the practice (Iron) squad.
Black enters the A-AA bracket at tournaments, Iron generally enters the bracket below. We are always scanning for opportunities to call Iron players up, to play with Black.
